Producing one song at a time?

So I personally take it one tune at a time and thats been fine but I'll start working on something else in my head that wont fit in the project I'm working on. Although, last time I tried to have multiple projects going I ended up with 12 songs that I ended up condensing into 3 songs.
I created this poll to see what others are doing.

Atm I'm working on 3 songs - 2 prog house one which have interweaving ideas, one will probably end up being good whilst the other will suffer and get binned, I'm also working on my 48hr competition track, as a break from the prog house

The option I'd choose isn't there. I make a few projects and whichever I am most able to work/happy with becomes my priority.

I'm with alpz on this one. I usually have a couple of similar projects going at any one time. these usually get melded into one giant project and I work from there.
however I voted for "nice if you have the time". I'm in no rush to shove multiple projects out the door.

Still new to the producing game (6mths) so cant really recommend my current method... However, I usually seem to have about 2-3 projects on the go in various states of completion at any given time. The main reasons for this are that I have a short attention span / get bored of working on the same tune for days on end OR I come up with an awesome idea that just wont work in the current project and so I will start a new one based around that idea, whether it be a drum loop or bass patch or synth etc. In the end I dont think it matters how you do it, so long as it works for you!

i always have like 5 or 6 tunes going at a time
it's amazing when i finish anything
most get cycled idea wise into better tunes later on

When i'm running out of ideas or just need to listen to something fresh I browse through my projects and work on something else.
This way old projects get reanimated

Once I start a tune, I hyperfocus / ocd / obsess until either its actually completed or I drive myself to hate it.
Simply can't move on until that file is made public or trash binned.

I start the tune, make the ultimate 16bar loop then start something else. Tunes never leave my computer

i like to do a few.....nothing worse then working on one and getting pissed of with it. I like to switch between genres, so i keep occupied. Like a pot above....what ever works for you
