Yeah! this is good, almost perfect dubstep tune.
Anyway, it would be fine to see this track with a drop like in zeds dead - coffee break. Deep, but a bit louder.

while we are at it..

i can't seem to find a good wav to mp3 converter, i tried using audacity and it mashed my mix to all hell. i heard itunes does it, but can't figure out how to do it (maybe not determined enough).

and on top of that, what's the deal with soundcloud creating imaginary clipping? my mix sounded clean as fuck, now it sounds like it was crappily chopped to pieces and crappily put back together (which is probably what happened)

I've recently had these issues with Soundcloud as you have, can be very annoying.

I use Foobar to convert my WAVS, works a charm and is very quick.

hey, this always happens, i post up a song for feedback, and then i get none, but i get a ton of listens? is it just not clicking with certain people?

anyone at all, even if you aren't a fan of the vibes i give, i'm just looking for TECHNICAL feedback please, on the mix/master, structuring, etc. choice of drum samples. go on.

i think the bass could do with being a bit louder, the kick seems to take control, you might want this i don't know, but i think you should experiment with turing the bass(es) up a little.

love the synth grove in the beginning. has a really nice chill vibe to it. the generic kick build is a little overplayed but thats just opinion. would love to hear a stripped down version of this with just the synth playing and the drums and bass. not particularly my style and the perc is repetitive but its certainly got great attributes

Tune sounds nice but it's not drumstep though... That's at 170-180 bpm. Some variations on the drums would've been interesting.

otherwise i am loving the criticism, i unfortunately made a few things permanente early on in the production such as the entire drum track, which i later found out when mastering, that the levels were fucked up. so everything i am picking up here is not necessarily something i can do to make this track better.. but how i can make the next one better, and for that. i am grateful as fuck..

I would consider this to be too cliché. It just sounds like it's been made with a 4/4 way of thinking. Every part of the structure is too predictable. I don't like the choice of melody and the plodding drums that always seem to have the same fill in at the end of the bars. The only positive thought I have after listening to this track is it is well produced. Maybe you spend too much time on production techniques rather than creating an organic feel to your music.

I am very honest with my opinions about peoples music. I hope this information is useful to you.

yeah i agree i think my production skills are good, there is ALWAYS room for improvement though. but no i agree completely. i feel like my head is stuck in that box, that's what i meant on real criticism on the structuring.

i hate to compare myself or others but songs i hear by more popular or even barely well known electronic artists, the "good" stuff, whatever your opinion is of that. i guess i'm saying how can i get out of that box, or expand my structuring. i try making them more intricate but it is still missing fundamental things.
