First off what kind of noise? Did you try pulling off the platter to see if something is obvious? Thinking something is slightly out of alignment and when you put the platter back it will be gone...hopefully.

vinyl, yeah i have there isnt much to look at i was thinking maybe slightly of balance, actually maybe its the tone arm, it has some slight movement were it connect to the swivel thing...haha but when i tighten the screws it dosnt allow it to move fluently. maybe some grease were they join?

Doubt its the tone arm, my TT500 has major movement at the swivel, and my PDX has very slight movement.
What kind of noise tho?

One thing that helped me with all sorts of issues with my decks was learning how to properly set everything up. I hadn't given it much thought at first, but turns out there are some very specific guidelines you can follow to get the best operation from your decks. Also a bum needle can cause the types of noise your getting but I'm sure you've thought of that already.

How would a digital recording pick up platter noise ;-)

Anyway, sounds to me like it might be the engine itself. My left deck's platter makes noise too, but that's more of
a scratchy noise because it's a teeny tiny bit bent.
