Didn't check if there was already a thread on this, but it's one of the best series out there right now. For any of you who haven't seen it here's the opening scene of episode 1

yeah I saw adverts for this it looked pretty decent. The protagonist seems like a bit of a Maverick Badass.

If the whole show is as good as Game of Thrones, it's probably real fucking bad.

granted i've only seen the first episode but it took a turn for the worst when they started showcasing the whole relationship bullshit and staff high school drama which are significant plot points. i just want the politics and the news not the 90210.

ahh so hope's not lost? in that case, i'll give it another go and resume the series. it was on an indefinite hold, which usually doesn't turn out well.

no its good, the interviews they do in the actual show are really great, and a little depressing knowing it'll never happen in real life

Ever since I was a kid politics bored the shit out of me. Even as an adult, that hasn't changed.
And I know this is entertainment/comedy but when I try and watch it I get the uncontrollable urge to turn it off.
Someone mentioned Game Of Thrones...now THAT is entertainment!
