LONDON:A wealthy Nigerian businessman was raped to death by five of his wives because they were jealous he was paying too much attention to the sixth one.

Uroko Onoja from Ogbadibo was having sex with his youngest wife when the remaining five reportedly set upon him with knives and sticks and demanded him to satisfy each of them too.

According to Nigeria's Daily Post, Onoja, who went on to have intercourse with four of his wives in a marathon sex session, stopped breathing as the fifth wife was making her way to the bed, the Daily Mail reported.

Two women have been arrested in the wake of extraordinary incident last week.

The businessman, who is understood to have returned from a bar at around 3 am on Tuesday, headed for the bedroom of his youngest wife.

His other wives, who were said to have held a meeting to discuss their intentions before Onuja returned home allegedly, ambushed Onoja for their conjugal rights. Although he tried to resist, they eventually overpowered him.

His youngest wife said that her five fellow wives ran into the forest when they realized their husband was dead. Village head Okpe Odoh said the matter had been reported to the police, who have already arrested two of the wives.

Wasn't implying that you were or indeed are...but the 'double standards' remark above does hold true, albeit in a somewhat extreme example.

I don't feel I need to explain that I actually think rape is bad to another adult... It's silly. It's pretext. It's assumed.

I wouldn't say the death is funny but the whole ridiculous situation is. obviously death and rape aren't funny.
The bloke had 5 wives
4 of them got jealous of him banging the youngest one.
All 5 of them fucked him till he died.
Its so ridiculous its hard not find slightly amusing especially as its so detached from most people's reality.

I have quite bad double standards here but i just can't see myself being that upset. If my 5 wives (not strangers) decided to force me into group sex i'd hardly mind.

Obviously the fact he died is terrible, but bar that it sounded like a good time.

I'll be honest, I can't fault the logic. Maybe I'm just looking for arguments more than usual today
