I'm on my iPod atm, so actual research is long.
But is this shit real? Do people actually get off to it? I've seen some straight up whack shit over the years but blimey... How could this be legal, what the fuck for? I'm generally ani laws, but in a system which largely exerts control over a great deal of life, how can this go unregulated.

I'm still pretty shocked by this all

Doubt that what's real? The videos are as real as it gets, believe me. I've seen one, albeit by accident, and it made me feel physically sick. Words can't describe what I'd do to the sick tnucs that make them.

Well it's also a cultural thing, small animals like that aren't as revered like in some other countries, so it's no big deal there. You ever seen how some animals and fish are cooked in Japan, even cooked alive? A majority of this stuff seems to come from there.

I still bet it's some kind of internet hoax

This is true, one man's pet is another man's delicacy. Although I fail to see how torturing small animals on video for other peoples' sexual gratification can be considered a 'cultural' thing.

I'm no anthropologist but I really doubt that masturbating to animals being stepped on is part of any valid cultural group.

still sceptical. Has anyone got any actual proof this is real other than "I saw a video"?

I don't think this is legal, either way. They just want the punitive measures increased.
I don't think this is very common and its a very fucking niche fetish. There's always gonna be a market for shit like this because the world has some twisted fucks living in it.
So I dunno what to say other than "fuck this weird shit but meh"

I didn't mean those things, I just meant why there doesn't seem to be much repercussions in their cultures, or all kinds of animal rights groups up in arms although I'm sure there are at least some. You just don't seem to hear about them as much as in UK/US/EU. And anyway I remember reading about animal crush videos sourced from China, but there are no animal abuse laws in China further proving it's of low priority, though some bills have started to be introduced very recently, like within the last year or so. Still no laws though afaik.
