Okay so here is the deal. I have been using a steinberg ci1 (very cheap sound-card). But I have been running it at 96 buffer for years without any latency issues or lag.
I recently bought a FastTrackPro as an interface to record vocals and acoustics and it is horrible - I have to run it at 1024 buffer or higher or it wont even play and even with a corrected driver latency I am still having massive delays between my midi keyboard & ableton.
So here is my questions is there a way I can have both soundcards plugged into my pc use one for output and use the other for recording - but in a way I dont have to go back and forth from both when I want to record/play back.
I have searched all of ableton and alot of google this morning to find absolutley no help. But I found something about making an ASIO4ALL driver that can control all 4 ins and 4 outs of each soundcard together as one.
