"Love of the music should be the driving force of any producer, performer or DJ. Everything else stems from that core, that love. With that love, sampling can become a tribute; An expansion on ideas long forgotten, reconstruction, collage. Using the same understanding openly and respectfully can turn DJing into a spiritual participation. It can turn a few hours of selection into essential history; Necessary listening through movement." - Theo Parrish

How fucking awesome is this dude?

Post your favorite tunes by him!

I think we already have an appreciation thread going on.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEFrNP-BLcI & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG-h27tajtg (although this one is a remix, I love this tune)
Probably going to see him 28th september, looking forward...

I would not be surprised. I tried a search for it but it didn't come up.

Embedded them for you. Falling Up remix by Carl Craig is an absolute modern classic! :W:

but as a producer... never blew my mind.

nahh bruv, listen to the ugly edits, to his oldskool tunes with marcellus, to the sound sculptures, to the helium robots remix from a couple of months back

so many big tunes to mention, if you don't like it, you're just not ready yet  (stfu was one of those tunes that takes time to appreciate)
