Edit: I use the term Heavier Dubstep as I hate the term brostep n that lol)
Alright guys, after what seemed like an eternity we finally have a new track, named Of Fire. It's typical of us, trying to add the stuff we love about Metal into Dubstep, without it sounding out of place and such.

The mix isn't the best it could be but this is a soundcloud mix, as I'm sure some of you know that SC can play with your mix n shit, so we pushed it for this version to keep power on SC.

Anyway here it is, any and all feedback is welcomed:

Cheers,
BA

Pads on the intro are nicely mixed, but that snare sounds a bit overly splashy. The mid range at 1m32 kills the track off completely, becomes too screechy after that :?

Yeah I know what you mean with that bass, the other version is better though but not 100%, I'll look into for next time.

Thanks for the input n honsety man.

I like the track. The sound is clean. The snare is my biggest complaint. If you layered two together, either give them less of an off-set and compress as needed, or line them up and split the frequencies to blend them, and compress to your liking. I love the bass sounds and the background percussion. Has a very oriental feel. :)

I listened to your music, and made an assessment based on what I could offer. Please do the same for me.

i actually really like the excessive splash of the snare. how do u know that isn't what he was going for? its different, and i like that. conformity sucks.
