So I've been working on a bass in NI massive and it sounds HUGE (Alot like Excision's Triple X bass)
The only problem is, Something about it is just off. When it drops in the song, It sounds more compressed and Smaller than it should.
I've tried everything I can think of to make it prominent in the mix, but it still sounds small (regardless of the volume)
Could this maybe be a mastering issue?

No it's not a mastering issue, it's a mixing issue.

No the drums Do not overpower it. They are both mixed to where they can both be heard.
When i try turning up the bass though, All it does is compress/lower the volume of the drums. :/

You have to EQ them so their frequencies don't overlap too much. Same reply in every thread about this stuff

What should I focus on While working with their EQ though? Because I've messed around with that aswell.

To make the drums come through the bass/mids you can either use EQ or use sidechaining. With EQ you can either make some cuts at the frequencies the drums are hitting e.g. kick = 100hz, snare = 200hz or instead of cutting you could sidechain the EQ to dip at those frequencies only when the drums hit - therfore making the bass seem fuller when the drums don't hit. Finally you could sidechain a compressor to the bass to duck the volume when the drums hit as well. Finally check your sub bass isn't overlapping the main bass and that the main bass isn't interefering with the mids, if they are - again use EQ to cut the frequencies. Finally try bussing the drums and bass together and using a compressor to glue them.
