The Next Studio Rockers is a carnival special and looks set to be as heavy if not heavier than the last as we have the sounds of legendary producer Adrian Sherwood (ON-U SOUNDS) with Scuba from (HOTFLUSH RECORDS) and Horsepower Productions(TEMPA) alongside the sounds Tony Thorpe AKA the Moody Boyz (XL/LANGUAGE/WALL OF SOUND)
Maximum Respect to all those who attended the Studio Rockers launch party on the 27th July at Plan B the other week
it was a night to remember as you witnessed the moulded sound of the old with the new..
Tony Thorpe AKA the Moody Boyz kicked off proceedings with a rootsy dub set mixing it up and creating a vibe for Cotti & the Kluekid to come and smash it dubplate style with some hot off the cutting plate business after them we had a once in a lifetime special from legends Shut up & Dance, Smiley and PJ said it took them 2 days to get a set together for this dance, finishing off in fine style was the sounds of Bionics who came with sampler and effects unit to bleep it out Tubby style.
