I'm hoping to upload a remix i'm doing for a contest on indabamusic.com. i haven't read all the rules but i'm sure they exclude remixes if all the samples are not cleared.

I used a the "guy singing dddeeaaahh" sample from Porcelain by Moby. Its like a really quick echoey note acapella towards the end. I just chopped it. I pitched it up an octave and just used it as a hit for a few notes.

Do I have to clear this???

Word, what if you can't tell anymore that it is that certain sound from Moby? No one will ever know.

Don't forget Moby originally sampled that off someone too. Does he now have rights over his samples?
