Theres a ton of songs that i really want to remix. But They don't have acapella versions. I've searched around alot to see how to do it, but nothing really works. I want to be able to have an instrumental (for sampling) and an Acapella. :u:

other options:
1) search discogs for a release with the acapella on the b-side. some of these are super cheap if they exist
2) figure out which parts of the vocals you want to use. if you cant find the acapella, buy a release with the 12" or extended mix. sometimes the dynamics are a bit more open than the radio mix. listen through the 12" mix and try to find a portion of the song that has what you want that doesnt have too much percussive sounds under it. you can sometimes just EQ this and, depending on what you are putting the sample over, it will fit well.
3) find someone to re-sing it for you. might sound like a dumb plan, but there are a lot of aspiring singers out there who might do it for free/cheap. then it is just a matter of reworking the recording to match the production sound/feel of what you need
4) contact the license-holder. i have no idea how to go about this, but the answer is probably a google search away. might be pricey

In short, if you can't find the acapella you're going to have a lot of trouble.
