Al Pacino wants to play Joe Paterno in Penn State movie

The Oscar-winning actor is interested in portraying the late Penn State coach, who was fired last November in the wake of the burgeoning child sex-abuse scandal involving his former assistant, Jerry Sandusky. Pacino’s talent agency, ICM, confirmed to Reuters a Deadline.com report that Pacino is looking into a film or television project based on Joe Posnanski’s best-seller, “Paterno,” that is being shopped around Hollywood.

idk i just think the media needs to leave it alone..
and i was thinking a well make up'ed john travolta would play sandusky....but i still think its a terrible idea

paterno tried to cover it up according to those emails in that report
but the dude who did the report is supposedly a bad source or something
all i know is... there will be a movie eventually and everyone here will be angry

sports culture in america can get really weird sometimes, as you can see here. people are so fanatical about their team or whatever that they will defend someone who enabled a child molester.
