My headphone socket on my laptops completely screwed on my laptop, i plug it in and all i get is a really reverby and bassless sound of whatever tune i want to hear, can anyone help me fix or find the problem?

An external soundcard would fix your problem. It's probably on your gear-to-buy list already

Thats amazing, might get one

There's a burnishing tool you can get that looks just like a headphone jack. You plug it in, twist it around a few times, and it cleans the socket. Might help.

thanks for the advice guys, iv been saving up to get the focusrite saffire for a while but ill have to get a cheap one for the time being it seems

should be able to pick one up from any electronic store tbh...

u could prob get it off amazon w/ like rush shipping for less than any electronic stores

those places are all rip offs
