You can't save the project as a live set .als or whatever for later use (it should already be saved on your hdd)? Or at the very least export it as stems?
I doubt you'll find anyone willing to do this though, and technically might be against all kinds of TOS if you care.

So Live works as cloud software now? Meaning projects etc are saved to their servers or what? If not, I think you'd need a serial and challenge/response code, not just a username/password.

You can't export or save in the trial version if I'm not mistaken. Also, there's no username and password for you to "log into" ableton. You have to have the serial number of the actual product and if someone gave that to you then you could possible steal the license.

om my computer, it says 'you are currently running live without an authirozation, so saving and exporting are deactivated' , it then gives ma a place to 'long in' on ableton.com, with the software iv supposedly bought, im just asking if i can use someones for 5 mins, save my project, then log off, (they can even change there password after, so i cant use it) :/

It makes you log on to ableton.com with your username and password and then enter in your serial number that came with ableton that then it will authorize it for you. So either way you're going to need a serial number. Just buy it, ableton is a fantastic DAW. If you're in school you can get a discount too.

Did you not save it at all when you were working on it before your demo ran out? You can still open anything that you saved while demoing, you just can't save new things once the demo is over.

But if you didn't save it at all while working on it and just decided to now (and discovered that the demo ran out) you are kind of out of luck unless you buy it for the 250 or whatever (if you are a student) because not even nice people are going to risk losing their $250-500 program to help a name without a face. Im not trying to be mean here, its just the truth.

As a last resort, get a notebook and a pen and write down all of the plugins and effects chains on all of your tracks and any of their values that are changed from the default setting. If any of the plugins are not native ableton you can still save presets inside them as well. Instead of writing it you could take a screenshot of each one by pressing "print screen", then using the paste command into a paint file. Im kind of rambling but Im just saying stuff as I think of it. If all of the plugins and other channel settings are the same as they are now it will sound the same.

This reminds me of when I was using the Fruity loops demo as a little kid and would leave it open in the background for days to weeks so I could keep working on songs.

You can get it fully functioning for 30 days where you can save. After that it goes to the mode where you can't save.

try to freeze a track, then flatten the track, then drag it into the ableton library folder somewhere. I think that should give you a bounced out wave file of each track you do it to.

The only real way around this is to buy the thing.

This is what I did, when I didn't buy it straight after too they emailed me saying I could have another 30 days. So do this, no ones going to give their ableton details to someone on here unless they seriously trust them already.

This is a trick to getting stuff to keep working, if you are running Windows, go into your computers clock setting and switch the date back to before it expired. It's unethical, but works.
