The 808/Kick in these songs is one of the power-fullest things I have ever heard

Anyone got any techniques on how to recreate this funky 808 Kick sound?

Ive heard Waves Max Bass is good for extending the range of frequency in an 808, any other techniques to make something as powerful and bass heavy as this?

I'm pretty sure MaxxBass just adds upper harmonics. Bassweight is all about mixing IMO...but I might be talking out of my ass.

Those tracks don't sound particularly bassy or "power-fullest" to me at all? I don't see what the big deal is?

If you want a big 808 kick just keep the level high, bit of compression/limiting and saturation, maybe some transient shaping. Make sure nothing else is in the same frequency range if you want maximum power-fullest-ness-ism.
