Drake releasing a Aaliyah album. I love Aaliyah so I am trying to be positive about it.

I've heard the first track, really like it, but then again, I really like Drake and 40 anyway, which is hardly a popular opinion round here.

@Garethom - I have never heard a Drake tune. Could you, as a Drake fan, please post his best tune so I can reevaluate him?
I have stupidly prejudged him based on the big ghost chronicles.

Him and Rihanna did a version of Jamie xx's take on Gil-Scott Heron's "I'll Take Care Of You" which was SHIT though, disregard that tune entirely.

How does he market himself though and how is he seen? Is he supposed to be a rapper or just an '''''R&B''''' singer? If he is a rapper, what's his most lyrically impressive tune?
I literally have no idea about the guy apart from big ghost chronicles, various memes and the hatred on here. That y o l o thing is pretty fucking annoying though, I must say.

Don't really know about how he's marketed to be honest with you, guess he's a mix of both. I know Pkay was slating him for being a rich Canadian Jew before, and that he was a child actor, that's about as far as I know.

I don't really ever go on twitter, so haven't encountered the YOLO stuff, and I have no clue what big ghost chronicles is.

His music is good.
I don't really see the point of the hating.

Big ghost chronicles is a rap music blog written in the style of Ghostface Killah of Wu Tang fame. It's fucking funny. He absolutely rinses Drake, not in a hateful way.... hard to explain.
The guy knows his stuff though so it's worth a look.

Sure I read on Fact Mag that Drake & 40 are only producing/vocals on about 5 tracks, and Timbaland and Missy Elliott are making some.

Might be chatting egg, so don't take my word for it.
