Late to the party-Finally discovered "Modern Talking"!

Dammit, I finally seen what all the fuss is about and it's already been rinsed!
I played with it a couple of years ago when people first started talking about it and managed to get some vowel sounds out of it. I also saw a couple of YouTube videos where people made some "yoi" bass sounds (which I was never a fan of) and I thought "meh, it's not so great".
Yesterday I had another little play with it. Messed around with the intensity knob and cranked up one of Massives wave shapers and boom, I discover that filthy sound I've heard in countless dubstep/electro tracks on beatport. Here I was thinking that kids today have mad sound design skills and are all masters of resampling and clever filter work and now discover that a lot of it is just Massives wave tables...
I've also found some disgusting noises can be made with Razors formant oscillator (again with the distortion cranked up). So despite being late to the party I'm going to rinse these sounds myself and spend the next week making some generic brostep! (I finally also understand High Rankins comments about being able to write 3 tracks in a day).

It's hardly modern talking that sounds shit, it's just when it sounds like that unmistakable "oiiiiiriiiiiiiii" talking sound.
You CAN still make decent sounds by adding a small amount of M-talk and it won't have that tacky overused sound.

All the crazy shit happens late in the party, though. Have you tried the Brutal Electro preset?

NOTHING good happens after 3 A.M. If you haven't gotten laid by then, it's time to go home. (Doesn't necessarily apply in Mediterranean countries though where people don't actually leave the house before that)

tbh i dont think your the only 1 late to the party OP, the other day on facebook people were suggesting massive as a unique synth for inspiration since "it has modern talking which is amazing for growls and yois"
thought they were joking for a moment but a lot of comments were about using the wave position on m-talk after :L

Sunny - I replied to a post in the How to make this sound thread a couple weeks back.
I replied sarcastically and said route the lfo to the cut-off.
The guy thanked ne and said it was just what he was looking for.

thats funny but a noob is a noob i guess.
thing is i get the same from local friends that produce. 1 made a decent tune & he wanted specific advice so i said "sweep high/low pass filters on certain parts of the song or add sound fx/white noise, etc".. then he tells me he don't know what white noise or filters are :/
i dont get how somebody can make dubstep and not know what a filter is. i really think the production bible here needs more posting around.
seems the word skrillex or "tutorial with patch included" seems more interesting than production bible lol.
