This is not for self promotion or anything..

When the beat drops on this track, it seems like the drums are too up in front or something? I think it's the sidechaining but I'm not sure.. I've tried a bunch of different things, I dunno... Maybe I've just been listening to it too much.

Any ideas on what I could do to make it sound a bit nicer?

Not sure how to really transition into it either.. Hmm..

Also seems like the drums are moving faster than the track or something? But they aren't... Ehhh :?

Here's a snippet:

Again, this is not promotion.. Just a snippet! (:

imo the drums are to low in the mix, i think gain structuring is the problem here. Try pulling down the faders and bring the drums up first. Then bring the synths up and try to balance the two parts Thats just what I would do.

Yeah, I have another track like this one, but the drums don't do that to the mix.. Hmm.. I'll try that!

Any more suggestions? :)

Ease off the sidechaining, make sure it's in time with the kicks, ease of the white noise in the synths, reset your mix, mix it down again.
