I WANT TO purchase a studio desktop

what are the things that this desktop need to have
i want a very strong computer because i need to work with very big ¨projects on fast move

But anyway, just get a good processor, any of the current gen i5's or i7's will be more than enough and 8 gigs of ram.

What actually more important, find a good computer chair and wrist pad. The only thing worse than having a shitty day of producing is not being able to cause your back hurts too bad.

Get 16 gb of ram. The price difference is like virtually non-existant, RAM is sooo cheap these days. It's not gonna make any difference now but once some more 64-bit programs pop up it'll come in handy and like I said it's ridiculously cheap.

Make sure you get a fast hard drive as well. SSD is overkill since it's not gonna have enough space anyway but don't skimp out on it and get the cheapest one. They DO make a difference. Also, i7;s have something called hyperthreading which allows them to act as 8 cores instead of just 4. An i5 will definately do the job but the i7 is better, just fyi so you can make an educated purchase. Also the i7's ending with K are really not worth the extra cash generally, they're easier/better to overclock but I wouldn't OC a production computer as I want them to be stable. So I'd stay away from those if you're looking to save some money. (Could be this has changed though, haven't been following this for a little while now)

Considerng getting an 256GB SSD as the system drive and upgrading to 16GB of RAM.
