its that time of year when The World at War starts getting played on TV. one of my favourite documentary series, if you haven't watched it i reccomend you do (if you are interested in WW2 obviously)

Essential! I love this doc. Watched them all back to back when I was off work the other year... everything about it is superb. Great footage, awesome detail (series seems to last foreeeeever) and one of the best non-Attenborough voiceovers a Doc has ever heard.

Yeah, it's between Laurence Olivier for TWAW and Carl Sagan for Cosmos, Attenborough is still the daddy of the voiceover though

my old man used to chill out to world at war every sunday afternoon...by the time i got to school i knew everything there is to know about the third reich. I was a laugh at break time i can tell u
