Nice one! Long live Mark & Moritz' music and whatever routes they decide to take now.

M&M play strict 7" Dub and reggae sessions now w/ an Emcee. That's the only configuration they've offered to promoters afaik.
ps. mix on the DL!

What i've heard is that they've split but will continue to produce seperately. Whatever the both of them will do is a mystery.
I read this:
http://www.blackcatbone.34sp.com/phpBB2 ... 5f26bf581f
emailed the bloke at bleep 43 and he replied with this:
"It is. I heard it from Modeselektor, who told me that they bought lots of their studio equipment earlier this month. They will still produce, but just separately I believe. They played in Greece last week and a friend outside spoke to Moritz who confirmed it.
I was in Berlin last month to visit D & M and spoke to Mark then, but he didn't say anything at that point."
M&M have never been open about anything so its impossible to know whats happening for definite. Rhythm & Sound may be over but the Basic Channel thing will never die. I think its good that they are taking a different route because it will probably mean more interesting and unique projects like the recent Tony Allen remixes.
