Definetly getting more loudness, duno if its getting a bit messy though. Anyone know any ways of eliminating pops when going crazy with audio chopping? Soundcloud

Nice, who are your influences? Reminds me of megalodon and kromestar

Cheers man, I'd say the rottun sound for the synths, other than that I just do my own thing really.

Huge on kromestar but all his best tracks are unreleased dubplates, I would do unforgivable disgusting things for full 320's of these...

The top one is fucking huge, damn right I'd do horrendous things for a 320 of that. And yeah man you got it, spect it'll be sometime this week.

look into cross fading samples for the audio chopping thing.

Will have to look into that, Cubase's auto crossfade and remove DC offset isn't getting me anywhere

maybe try using a noise gate with some reverb, or cutting up the audio a bit more precise

ahh well FL you can automate the volume of each sample individually, it's a pain but it gets rid of any popping where it's been cut. Pro tools has the best cross fade function I've seen so far.

You can do it in Cubase too, I find it way more extensive with the audio mashing than FL. Im saying I think I will have to get quite indepth with it, as you say its a pain. Will look into noise gating too

If you send the audio track to a bus then put a eq on that bus with a bandpass where the popping sound is you can send that to another bus with the noise gate on it to reduce that frequency band. The 1st bus with the bandpass on it needs to have no output though. You can also use this technique to make an excellent deesser.

It seems to pop whole spectrum? I can't seem to isolate any band where its more prominent.

I like your style man. Interesting sounding synths you have going on there.

Very robotic and also I guess because of the length it seems to progress quite fast. The funny thing is this reminds me of a hip hop producer by the name of El-P. I wouldn't say that it is too similar, but I (and I may be wrong) feel it may have a slight hip hop influence. Either way, I think it sounds pretty cool, even though as of late I've been listening to more smooth jazzy chill dub tracks. Props.
