Thanks, if you could, please tell me what I did wrong. I'm using maximus on it, I know that using it may be a no-no, but I don't know how to get it loud enough for car speakers.... any advice would be awesome bro.
Thanks

It started off vicious, and once 1:16 hit I really started getting into the tune. You just kinda spazzed out and really got my attention. That dark kill and F*** you vocal samples are placed in a way that at first felt random but welcome, and they really helped complete that badass sound you have going on.

so thank you AMG. A very warm-hearted compliment on a dark-hearted song haha

No prob man. I appreciate people putting their music up. It's always great to hear the intricacies of a person's style. By the way, I listened to your coercing track and while it's not exactly the sound that I look for, I dig how it's constructed. It's got a dance vibe to it, but it's not obnoxious to me like most tracks of this ilk can be. I don't get the feel of this track being looped over and done lazily. That is probably why I often don't enjoy most tracks that seem like you can just dance to them. The energy fits well with the sound. Honestly I was hoping the last 40 seconds or so would have evolved a bit, but other than that great effort.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for listening and any feedback. Andy, thanks for putting it in your mix!
Here is what I've done, I spent all night EQing (I still need to give people feedback in mixing forum :]
Check it out, I think it's a lot better, any input would be dope.
Thanks guys!

I've actually been meaning to work on the end and update it, totally feel the same way about it man.
I appreciate the honesty and constructive critique, super dope bro, thanks for sharing with me. We feel the same way about a lot of things. I think sometimes I'm too wrapped up in making more and more music that I get distracted off of finishing tracks to make them complete. It's kind of how I am as a person, easily distracted haha. Well hey, do you have a Soundcloud? I'd like to follow and get you some feedback if you'd like.

Sorry I was a bit slow to reply man but looks like you got it sorted! Sounds so much better than it was..
Really like the tune just make sure your using the EQ/Compressors/limiter... and keep in mind "Louder isn't always better"
If in doubt stick a multiband compressor on and in presets do a 'master to 2.4db' then obviously set the volume to 2.4db.
Good work though, digging it.

Satcha, thanks for listening to it after I Eq'd. It's tough to know truly where the track stands in terms of sounding clean, because I can only test it on a limited number of mediums/systems (my computer monitors, my car, and my gf car.) So as you can see I'm really at the mercy of others feedback. I have one question though, after eqing the bass, I feel like I lost some bassy feel to it, do you think my bass is not heavy enough? Thanks for the tip on multiband compressor, I'm sure I will be putting that method into practice in the near future

I'm the same as you man.. work through headphones and my car.
The Kick still has a lot of bass to it but everything else has a lot of bass to it as well so it gets a bit lost... maybe take some of the low end off the synth..
I've only been producing for 4 months so i'd double check what I say with others as I probably do a lot of stuff wrong but take what you can

Thanks, I'm just like you, been doing it for 4 months.
I'll experiment with cutting the bass off a bit instead of keeping it so prolonged through each 1/4 bar. Anything you want to share for some feedback send some links!

pretty cool track i like the attention to the bass and the automation .. real cool but at like 1:37 is when i heard that high pitched blippy sounding synth and on my speakers it sounds real piercing almost maybe roll off some of the high end or something haha but other than that cool project much respect

@El-Fx -- Thank you for the review and advice man, really appreciate it, it seems the sounds after 1:37 are quite common in hurting people's ears lol I'm really trying to fix it
Everyone, I'm really having trouble removing the high frequency off the beeping sound that is piercing so many people's ears. I can get it to not be so high pitched, but it totally takes away the feel and presence of the sound. I've used EQ parameter to remove some highs from it to no luck. I've tried moving it around octave wise, but it doesn't retain the same presence. I've tried using filters on it, modifying frequency and other parameters in the VST itself, but it's really not working lol. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure there are a number of things I haven't tried yet :0

i feel u man.. yea there are probaly more than a few things you can try to make it fit in the mix well. But ultimately its your tune so my advice is to give it a listen on different speakers or give the tune a days rest just to get a fresh perspective and figure out if you really like that element in your track and then what i do is i either just scrap that idea and keep it simple dont force it or beat yourself up on trying to make the tune perfect . it will have you going like this

in no time ! lol ive been there i think everyone has at some point and it wont be the last time. so if you like it then

your the producer of your own track mang dont force it just jam out tunes and youll even start to see mad progression in your tracks without even noticing i know im sounding kinda preachy n shit and i dont mean to lol but fuck it man its just music gota keep it pure !
