Hey guys i just found these 2 videos that show some tricks of the trade when it comes to making huge reese basslines found in Neurofunk!
My question is how does a person take these recordings and make them into reesey bass bombs!!!

Not sure but one method would be to load one small bit into a sampler or hranulizer like camel alchemy

A lot of those sounds are often layered with a reece or sub underneath. Foley samples are used to get some interesting movement on the top end when layered with other things. If you use Ableton you can do a lot by using an instrument rack for your mid-bass and using chains to layer and switch between them using the chain selector. It all comes down to experimentation. If you don't think of it as work or as being tedious, it actually becomes as enjoyable as creating the finished track.
Dogs on Acid has a lot of really good information if you're willing to dig thru

Hello my name is Lord Omega
Now Noisia reeses... well. Noisia are extremely clever when it comes to reeses and to be honest I don't think I could recreate any of there reeses 100% . BUT! I think that with the right techniques I could get fairly close.
NOW!
Noisia have said in the past that they don't use Massive, but to be honest Massive is very popular and makes epic sounds so we'll use it anyway. So I've come up with a reese patch which is pretty sick and should help you to make some filthy reese basses in no time.
If you like one of these ask for details, some are a bit complicated.
the last few are especially tasty. details?
If you mean the last 4 vowely growls then here is what I did:
I used sytrus, made a growl, this is pretty simple and I really don't want to explain myself for the 500000th time , I think seamless does some tutorials that are similar-ish to my method.
To get that really vowely quality I just used like 6 notch filters automated them so that one automation would make them all move up or down and another would make them move together and apart. I did this with love philter.
You might be able to do this with a comb filter too but it is going to be different.
Then I did some compression and reverb.
That is it.

yea it's pretty disappointing how many people post statements without proper research. Check it out people, you have 2 choices:
A) preface your 'claim' with the phrase "I think.."
OR
B) Do the research and/Or Cite your source if challenged.
saying that you just heard it somewhere is bullshit and frustrating. At the very least, it's the millennial generation's responsibility to be the most self educated/resourceful (I think I know this term applies to America more than Europe). And no one is wrong to hold them to that expectation. We don't have an excuse, because we grew up with the internet. The majority of this community is European or American. More people is those nations have internet access than ever. Either do it or screw off. It's unfortunate they can't hold themselves to that expectation as they hold so many of their own with what they think is the 'real world' and other people around them.
Cheers
Yes I'm an American millennial who closes his posts with 'cheers'.
