hi all ,
i tried many times to recreate a sound , but had no luck getting close for now , and it's very frustrating :((
i am talking about the sound that starts @ 00min32 seconds (the monster sound , the wobble)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PckbI0h0pyw

any ideas to redo it ? i have massive and FM8 , but only tried to redo it with massive for now (pretty sure it's been done with it)
MANY THANKS :)

It actually sounds more FM8 than Massive to me. I could be wrong. Annnnd I'm the last person who should be answering questions about FM synthesis.

Try some random wavetables in massive, lots of sine shaper/para shaper and a scream filter

lets just all make original sounds people. Or if we wish to use others as an influence or a base, then use the knowledge thats already out there. Copying the current popular brostep basses does not make you the next big thing, it makes you quite opposite really. Idk I just think its a bit pointless endlessly trying to copy these basses.

First growl
Is an o to a vowel movement. You can do that a million ways. It has tons of distortion. 2nd one is modern talking in massive 100% just automating the wave table position. Good luck

Actually there is little you can learn from that thread. Most of the posts are people showing off their growls, lol.
Half of my posts are in that thread so I know something about it :6:

it's useful for seeing other people's techniques to get certain sounds. been some helpful pointers for me. but yes, lots of bad growls and people trying to tickle their egos!
