My soundcloud has been like that for months...

same.. there was a thread about the soundcloud beta so your a bit late.... love it too because now I don't miss out on any tracks I follow

I haven't switched since I heard there was some trouble with it but it looks slick in the pictures. Would you recommend switching over? I feel the old design is a bit uninviting when it comes to people who aren't used to SC.

How do I switch? Mines the old way...

Damn I thought I was special. They told me it's in beta and that I'm one of a select few allowed to try it. It's alright. I wouldnt recommend yet though since it's not full featured yet.

I don't know how they pick.. Maybe on usage or maybe just random but you get a pop up saying "you have been selected to try the beta"

I first got the invite months ago and switched for maybe a day and didn't like it, so switched back.

Now, the other day, I decided to give it another go. I guess it has some nice features (like being able to listen to a tune while not being on the tune's page, etc.) but it's still taking some getting used to.

Honestly I don't like it as much as the old layout but I guess it will just take some getting used to.

To be honest, I think it sucks huge. I know it's still in the beta phase, but still.

havent done the switch yet but based on jrisreal's screenshot... is it me or they are turning it into facebook ?

I did their customer survey yesterday and it sounded like their thinking about a subscription fee, tighter integration with facebook etc and putting together something like itunes or beatport.

I am very okay with this.. I was planning to become a member just for the fact that you can swap tunes and keep the comments...Id be able to replace mixdowns with masters.

AFAIK that's only the download version, the listenable one will be the same. I'm a Lite member but I haven't used the feature yet so I can't tell for sure but I think that's how it works. So it's not as good as you think. It's like literally no money at all though, I don't really see it as a problem anyway.
