So I started making Riddim dubstep lately but I still need some help...
First of all i realy don't know how to make a riddim bass (even when I keep trying and searched for hours) and how I get a good riddim snare and those triplet hi-hats. So bassicly I almost don't know anything about producing riddim dubstep.
I hope you guys can help me!
Guy asks for help and gets ripped apart? So what if he doesn't use the right terminology, grow up.
OP, what software/ synths are you using?
For drums, think about layering you sounds. A good snare might consist of both a snare and a clap for example. The key is to experiment and watch videos like these, then apply those techniques into making your own sound
Glad to see there is one usefull post.
I'm watching the video right now.
& why should you give it another name if Riddim Dubstep is the most used one, that's why I also gave the examples.
But thank you for bumping my topic.
I don't know what you guys are saying but I know it's useless.
So if you can't help me just search another topic to increase your postcount.
Anyways, I can still use any help/tips!
Ofcourse I know Jakes, but why should I even discuss that?
I'm just asking for some tips/tutorials for a good bass, snare and hi-hats.
And ofcourse I already searched on this forum how to make this sound but what should I search else then a '-a bunch of artist names who use this sound- bass' or 'riddim dubstep'. But Trainrek obviously can give a better synonym since he said 'its obviously not the most used one' about 'Riddim Dubstep' so i would waite for him to post.
