Hmmm. It is a good price.
But I have alchemy and massive, which seem to be more than enough for my pads/wavetable synthesis. What does this offer that I don't already have?

Z3ta 2 is newer and has all the capabilities of Rapture plus more.
Rapture is essentially a waveshaping synth like Z3ta.
That being said though, if you don't have Z3ta 2 then Rapture is really well priced.
If you have z3ta then you can always upgrade for cheap and get the new 2.1 features.

I would say its more powerful then Z3ta for complex sounds. It don't have as deep wavshaping or an arp other the n that you can do every thing Z3ta can do plus load samples, .sfz files, multi stage envelopes , step generators ,loads more filters and fxs. If your more interested in wavshaping and analog synth Z3ta the one but if your after something like Absynth or Alchemy for $19.99 defiantly check out Rapture for at that price. I think they might be updating Rapture, about a year ago there was a $19.99 sale on Z3ta+ then after Cakewalk announced Z3ta2!

z3ta 2.1 can load samples as well.
