Easy everyone,

In lots of new Coki dubs the bass sounds more like human speech in tracks like Stargate, Mourning Soul and Checkmate.

Anyone got any ideas of how to make this kind of vowely bass in reason or other daws?

I would think sampling/vocoding would have a lot to do with getting that sound. The last one is more obviously a sample.

The second one is the Elektronik waveform in maelstrom.

vowel style bass?

first track just sounds like a pretty simple patch with a slow/small (2 semitones maybe?) pitch bend going up then down...

second sounds like granular synthesis of a voice, or a sample put into a sampler and just processed a lot.

third sounds like a pretty standard hard-style synth, super saws, with some formants or filtering with heavy resonance.

then you guys dont know coki. he wouldnt go out like that. first off hes using maelstrom and subtractor which are great for those formant talking sounds. and second have you heard goblin? that song is definitely all synthesis no sample. so if he could make goblin, im sure he would be able to make a crazy sound like that third track

Yeah I didn't want to derail this thread so I kept my mouth suht. But Coki definitely forgot how to produce. This stuff sounds like it was made using baby toys. Fucking lame, Coki.
