hey, i've had this firewire interface called the "apogee duet" for a really long time now and i've recently wanted to try it out and use it to hook up some mic and maybe record some guitar. thing is, I have just a regular macbook and i don't know much about cables so i tried using every single "connecter" this damn machine came w/ to hook it upto my mac but absolutely nothing. not one cable hooks into my mac, i'm thinking i'm going to have to go out and by some sort of adapter but i have no idea what to get or if anything what cable/connecter i need to hook this thing up. i sound like i don't know what im doing and that's because honestly i don't. any help is greatly appreciated

So I presume the interface uses Firewire? If so then just get a Firewire 1394 to USB adapter, and plug it in to a USB port on your PC, cause in theory Firewire works the same as USB... somewhat... I haven't been able to find a Firewire to USB cable/adapter, but I don't doubt you can't find one, some where...

Mac's have USB ports too lol... Even though it uses OSX as an OS, it's still a computer... Can you take a picture of the interface, and the port please? That would give me a better idea, to go off of, so I can help you out better...
