whut up folkers....i haven't been super active on here lately as some of you may have noticed, alot of stuff keeps me busy during these months of summer, however, i have some pretty large gigs coming up in the next couple of weeks and i would love to play some fresh dub bidness! you know i've been reppin the forum dubs since before there was a "Dubs" sub-catergory, and i want to rep some fresh shit at these gigs. I'm playing a couple spots at Burning Man this year, and let me tell you, the cats at Burning Man are fiends for dubstep! I'm also headlining at Bass Goes Boom in chicago (which just hosted Joe Nice and JuJu over the last two months).

i wanna play burning man....how does one get booked for such a gig?

you really need to know someone in a sound camp who will be willing to put you on. the serious sound camps don't take too many chances and are pretty family oriented. i would suggest trying to get in with some burners in your area, start dropping music on them and try to get them to spread your name around. there are shit tons of sound stages...prolly in the range of 200+ at the festival all week, so there are plenty of dj spots. unfortunately, it's really just who you know.
