So I'm a big collector and have a couple golden oldies, but I would really like to hear what rare plates other people have - can be actual releases or test presses, I don't mind I just really want to see what people have
Personally for me the rarest plate I've ever seen is Youngsta's TP of midnight.... WANT!

Really!? Haha. There is a friend of mine in the Illuminated (dutch producer group) who has the most insane collection ever. Also a friend here in London has some ridiculously rare grime vinyl

He's ripped it to mp3 long ago so he almost never takes the actual plate anywhere, hence the amazement seeing it

I don't understand your confusion. It's a well known fact that there are a few copies of it in vinyl form. Apparently youngsta & oneman & some other person have these copies. Given a tp will deteriorate much faster than regular acetate it makes perfect sense he ripped it to mp3 format...
I also don't know why you are commenting either

test pressings are vinyl and only get made when a tunes getting released to check the quality of the full batch
yunx and oneman have got acetate dubplates of midnight which are what wear out after so many plays

I have El-B's Ghost Rider EP...there's none left on Boomkat or Discogs at time of writing.
Does that qualify as rare?

We meet again.
I am also the owner of this, maybe it's about strictly test pressings?
