Need help guys! I barely listen to hip hop, but I've got a gig this weekend and they want me to play Hip Hop/Rap stuff. "Music you can grind to" is what they said. I know this isn't really a dubstep related topic but you guys have never failed to give me good advice so I thought I'd ask here. If you guys can suggest some songs in this genre that aren't super over played that'd be a bonus. But not a requirement. So.

Oohhh yeah I love this stuff. This is the kinda shit I usually play but they want hip hop, not electro/dubstep.

If you don't know the tunes well, don't bother trying to mix too much tbh... just fade straight over on the beat. The trap/southern stuff is easier to get to know quickly.

Start off with Adam F. - Smash Sumthin because it has a fucking huge impressive intro and the only place it's played too often is my front room.

Then play Juicy J. - Who Da Neighbours and Nas - Oochie Wally on repeat for the duration of your set.
