Must Have Plugins and VST's [Free/Downloadable]

Hey everyone - I want to get myself some new Plugins and VST's to create some new sounds as I've been using many of the same ones, mainly FL Studio's built in arsenal.

If there are any important and must have freeware out there, I'd really like to start getting a list going for everyone to use. I don't want to limit anything to a specific genre, but just great all around tools to have to really take your sounds to the next level. You never know when a special plugin can really help finish off the sound you're looking to create.

One I know a lot of people use is Camelphat and I believe this is free. Likewise, I plan on getting this onetoday.

So the question is, what plugins and VST is everyone using that they really like and could not live without?

:h:

Variety of Sound, Tweakbench and TAL are all great in my opinion. TAL-Bassline (or whatever the SH 101 emu is) is great as a starting place for reese basses.

Also, just buy an issue of Computer Music magazine so you can access the freebies they have. Totally worth the price of admission if you ask me.

There's a thread here. Alot of freeware does what your stock plugins do. If FL doesn't have a transient shaper, grab Transient. I also highly recommend u-he synths, especially the Zebralette.

If you're after new sounds, grab SyncModular and all the patches you can find...

Awesome fellas - Thank you I will be grabbing a lot of this stuff this weekend. I'm a little upset I've had a very unproductive week with nothing but mental blocks and a few decent loops.

OhmForce's "Frohmage" is free and it is pretty darn dope. Great filter for shaping sounds. It works well for carving sounds into their own niche and brings out their qualities that would otherwise be buried in the mix.
