Any links anywhere?
I wasn't the world's biggest fan of Quaristice or Oversteps, to be honest. Bit too much wanking.

Sounds a little LP5-esque.
I mean, it sounds better, but I still think it's a bit more style over substance.

word. lots of Quaristice style beat workouts too. for me it's a retrospective album.
hopefully they get a tour going too, chances are they'll make it to Australia at least.
edit: so yeah lets just say it nice and early: album of the year imo, noone will even come close to touching this.

i listened to it on my monitors from start to finish last night. really some breathtaking production, has hints of many different albums of theirs, including confield, lp5, quaristice, and ep7. deco loc is ridiculous. the many different types of vocal layering within it makes it heady as fuck. tuinorizon reminds me of golden era idm, and 1 1 is sounds like its a b side tune off of ep7. all in all, classic autechre material!

Sounds like a load of their max/msp experiment bits and more generative approaches to tracks/sounds which is my favorite style of theirs (Confield being my personal best Autechre record)

Some bits remind me a bunch of Draft 7.30, which ain't a bad thing as I seem to be in the minority that loved that album.

actually i always thought their weakest link was quaristice. draft 7.30 i thought was sick. one of the reasons i have always loved autechre is because i appreciate their music from an audio standpoint. that plus im a nerd. there's some really subtle yet detailed stuff hidden in those tracks. the sounds alone baffle me from a producer's view too. i think they still use c-sound to make some of their sounds.. talk about a difficult program to use.

this is their best work in a while, so many magic moments hidden amongst the chaos

I can't get into the album. No, it's too random for me.
