Hi there,

I am looking for more atmospheric dubstep in the same style as

• Burial,
• Synkro,
• Clubroot,
• Phaeleh,
• Medictune,
• Great Skies,
• Forensics,...

but it is not that easy to dig that kind of sound...

I am not necessarily looking for something beatless but I really want something smooth, deep & ethereal.

Any suggestions of artists or sites/blogs to follow for this particular style ?

Yes, thanks for reminding me you're posting the tracklistings with your mixes ! I was actually precisely thinking about these mixes which make me discover a few years ago (around Vol.9 as far as I remember) that Burial was not the only one in this style

This is indeed an excellent album ! But not quite the kind of smooth and ethereal atmospheres I am looking for.

Tim Hecker is probably one of the most creative guys on the pure ambient scene ! But in this topic I am ather looking for something a bit more influenced by the dubstep atmospheres.

Phaeo makes quality ambient vibes Soundcloud

Perverse, Irrelevant, Kryptic Minds, Lung and Von D all have a lot of tunes which would fit the description, though some of their stuff is a bit heavier/darker. All producers well worth looking into if you don't know them!
