Sorry if this has been covered somewhere already but I think I've read all the threads. I prefer using sends when adding effects but this can give me weird frequency gaps/phasing etc, is there a way round this?

When you actually bounce out the audio for your resamples you'll notice a considerable difference than just using sends... just make sure you eq.limit.compress.whatever to taste and get it perfect each time you bounce. I reccommend a maximum of 2 total resamples of 1 sound before it sounds too absurd. Try a bandpass if you're getting weird fractals

Sorry man not really getting what you're saying, I'm talking about when I send out my signal to an effect an then run it back in, I put an eq on the bus and I have weird gaps.

It's because there is a time difference between two audio sources and it creates phasing effect.

Yeah, that seems to be one of your vsts on the send throwing off the sync. Like said already above that is your phasing issue. More or less the only way I know to fix that is to figure out what vst is the problem and put one on your main track. Make sure to turn the dry/wet to dry, turning off the vst won't help because it won't be processing audio and won't be thrown off time to match. I'm sure there is a way to not have sync issues like this other than my method. Maybe a comp with more ram or just better vsts that can keep up. Hope that helped at all.

why are you using sends for creative fx

So I can do things to the wet while leaving the dry alone

do some parrallel processing then, idk just seems like a waste of a send to me, especailly when i use up to like 10 plugs at a time for reeses.
