Drum Synthesis

I know similar topics have been posted before, but searching "drum synthesis" brought up loads of other topics in the search function (- merge this with any other threads if needed wub :))

So anyways I've very recently got into this, particularly for kicks and tbh making a kick/snare from scratch (not layering/combining/chopping samples) is really starting to sound nice and I'd recommend more people try it.

I know you can synthesise drums in things like FM8, but I'm looking if anyone has any dedicated drum synths and any tips on it?

So far I've found BazzISM and Drumatic, the first looks quite interesting.

Microtonic. Seriously, my all time favorite drumsynth.

And the controls are pretty self-apparent, such that after using it for a while you actually learn the basics of drum synthesis - tone to noise ratios, attack/decay settings, the whole nine. :4:

Just watched the promo vid, looks really nice, the demo is rediculously functional as well - I'll download and test it :)

I really love drumspillage by audiospillage. different drum synthesis engines for different drum types. I love it. I've been creating all my drum samples in it. the thing I love about it is that it's really streamlined and focused. if you want to create a kick drum, you load up the kick drum sound module and get tweaking. no sequencer tho. not a problem for me, but could be an issue for some.
