it's quite interresting actually, but you should definitely fix your kick drum, I couldn't hear it at all with the bass
It's something else for sure though

Interesting, I like it. I agree with Faux Eden with your kick though. You can't hear the kick, and good, audible drums are pretty important.

I mean, if theres any way you could add more punch to it so that it'd stand out in the mix
EQ and compression is something you should look into getting used to it's essential

btw I do use EQ a lot, but haven't for drums yet. I always throw a compressor on there, but I don't do much with it. I get the basic idea (sounds with volume that exceeds a certain level are "compressed" logarithmically), but I haven't found many good strategies for using it yet.
