Bristol based producer and DJ Kahn has been extremely high on our wish list since we started putting together these nights. We are now hugely delighted to welcome him for his debut Birmingham performance with an exclusive 2hr set at the intimate setting of the Hare & Hounds.

Known for encompassing a variety of styles in his productions blending grime, garage, dubstep and more, Kahn is one of the hottest bass-music acts to emerge from the city of Bristol. A true individual with a unique sound and sense of style, Kahn has been turning some serious heads over the last year and you can be assured to hear a diverse set that'll knock your socks off!

Spanning from the garage influenced sounds of 'Like We Used To' (his 1st 12" release on Peverelist's label Punch Drunk Records in early 2011) to the bass pounding frequencies of 'Way Mi Defend' and deep minimal 'Azalea' (out on Box Clever), while not forgetting his outstanding dub-infused DEEP MEDI release of 'Dread/Late Night Blues': Kahn's style is fresh, unique and unpredicatable.

During 2012, Kahn and DJ Neek formed a production duo named Gorgon Sound whereby their sounds and performances build on sound-system music. Their first release 'Find Jah Way' (released on Peng Sound! in 2012) incorporates traditional dub styles with more modern techniques. In the same year Kahn set up his own label 'Bandulu' releasing the dancefloor smasher 'Percy/Fierce' while also being a part of the Young Echo collective (formed of producers; Vessel, El Kid, Zhou, Jabu and Kahn) He will also be also be performing again at what is regarded as the worlds best bass music festival - Outlook Festival.
