usually around 70 % or so.

just preference. i do 50 percent, and set volume at -18db so it's the same output db as 0 percent and -12db (the default for simplers)

depends on what I'm using it for. sometimes really high, sometimes really low. I just think about what I'm using and how much of a velocity range it needs. I usually keep things decently high, except some things sound like shit the higher you go.

i have it at 40%, copy to siblings, then save that as my template

I have it 40% on kicks, 50 on hats, 70 on percs. It seems to work good
