Hi guys,

Sometimes I need classical instruments.
Can anyone suggest plugins and effects to reach highest quality/analog sounding piano, electric and acoustic guitar ? I know there are many stuff for this, but I need as high as possible quality.

I'm using Ableton. I can use Instrument Racks, 3rd party VST/AU plugins for instruments and effects.
Ableton has completed Instrument Racks with guitars and pianos, but hey man,,,, quality is sh*t.

Guitar - http://www.spectrasonics.net/products/trilian.php (couple of awesome guitar patches in this)

(NB - for freeware guitar synths, have a look at these - http://blog.reddogmusic.co.uk/2012/12/1 ... -yourmind/ )

realGuitar and RealStrat both sound great.

there's tons of good pianos out there; even the basic one in garageband can sound nice with a decent short reverb on it.

re: Wub's links, the anvil amp sounds great for heavy tones. be aware that it'll throw your signal out of phase, so you'll have to correct that if using it in parallel.

Thank you guys, I'll try your plugins. And what do you think about effects part ? Are you using Lexicon Reverb ? I found it as great sounding reverb like alternative for analog reverb. What else do I need ? What do you think about Waves mastering ? I want to complete my Instrument + Effect Rack.

Applied Acoustics make some good guitar modelling synths, realSamples also do some good Kontakt packs with real recorded guitars.

PianoONE is a decent free piano VST, Amore Grand Piano is also a good piano for Kontakt.

For reverb try epicVerb or any of the Valhalla poducts - I love Valhalla Vintage Verb.

As for Waves products, some are good, some not so - try the demos/read reviews etc. first.
