Anybody use Guitar Rig as a channel strip?

I've been playing around with Guitar Rig's other functions besides amps, cabinets, and distortion today, and am finding that this has almost every effect one could want all in one plugin. Yet I've never seen anyone use it as like an Izotope Alloy where it's kinda like an all-in-one to save CPU. The FX (i.e. reverb, delay, chorus, compression, eq, phaser/flanger) seem pretty legit, anyone use GR as such?

Its a great plugin,i use it a lot.Tbh mainly as a send effect for blines and stuff,it has got an unreal set of effects built in and is pretty easy to use.I have never thought of using it as a channel strip as i have reverbs and the like i always reach for but might have a go with the next track i produce to see how it weighs up.

I love sending stuff to a track with an amp sim (usually Amplitube) on it, especially bass guitar and vocals. If you're mixing a band that recorded bass DI it can really bring it out. Sounds cool on drums if you're going for a dubby thing too.

I use it all the time for the delays and the universal modulation options for all modules. Pretty good stuff.

I love GR5. It's a shit emulator, but a great fx mangler.

I actually got a really convincing guitar sound from it for a demo my band recorded. You just have to mix it right.
