As a vinyl buyer I have to wonder what I've missed in the way of digital releases... I'm sure most of the really good stuff makes its way onto wax, but then again some stuff that gets released on vinyl is not very good, and I bet there's some absolute gems out there I've missed because they've remained digital only.
What would you say are some seminal digital-only dubstep releases?
Thanks

maybe not really a digital release as it was just given away as a free mp3 by the man himself on here (no idea why this never saw wax, or any release of some sort).
Edit: Just noticed you said dubstep releases at the end. This is too good to pass up though. Add Wen and Epoch - Hydraulics to the list as well.

^^^ This. Few good digital only labels out there, Egyptian Avenue, Broken Bubble, Con Amore. Don't know too much about them, but people here seem to rate Macabre Unit Digital (assuming from the name they're digital only), and of course, get on soundcloud, have a real dig around, there's probably enough quality stuff on there that you don't need to buy stuff!

Tribe12 is pretty good, Innamind had a few nice digital releases too.

They release under MUV as well (Macabre Unit Vinyl) although unfortunately not nearly as much as they do digital.
Nomines Jahpan EP is great... Tribe12 is one of my favourite labels of last year. Soulstep are definitely worth checking out too.

Why are people so bothered about the format that music comes out on its music do you think art lovers worry if something is on canvas or on a wall or sculptured.

Chill out this aint bigging up one format over another.. he simply said he buys vinyl and may have missed out on some decent music that never made it out on vinyl.
