Non wobble bass sound from Zelda step

I have some questions about the sustained bass sound a 45 seconds (not the wobble, but after the wobble). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU75uz0b8EU

What kind of wave is it? What kind of effect does it have? reverb, automation filters (seems to me like the sound is morphing, could be just envelopes but what kind)? Is it a chord or a monophonic sound? Anyway I can make something close quickly in Ableton? To find it as a preset what kind of genre / name would it be under?

Think it's a formant saw with loads of dimension expander. Definitely some format screechy business
