no idea how to describe it

here's some examples of it in tunes i listened to recently

* the one that precedes the subbass

00:59ish on that one ^ then faint synth behind that growly stuff, only comes in occasionally

so yeah, how make dat shit? i have no idea. sounds good though. i use massive. im assuming some sort of lfo on the intensity knob-thing or something?

i dont really know any of the lingo so if ppl could explain in the same way u would explain to a 7 yuear old that would help me a lot :4:

to me it just sounds like a Square wave.
open massive->turn wt-position to square->turn pitch down an octave(or two)->put low pass filter on->cutoff about 1/3 up->go to LFO pull xfade curve all the way up -> change wave position to start near the bottom and rise up -> make the rate fairly slow or click the sync ratio to 1:1-> assign the sine wave lfo to the low pass cutoff and pull it up a bit (or an envelope with some attack) -> then ad any reverb/delay/overdrives...

i think that's the simplest way to do it.
