An album is made out of "software synthesizers", BIG FUCKING WHOOP. Can anyone explain why this is on the BBC news site?
The software mimics the sound produced by synthesisers such as the Minimoog.
??

I'll bet almost everyone on this forum has used at least one Moog emulator before! I use Diva in almost every tune I make. I'm guessing the BBC don't understand modern music and think that emulating old synths is a new concept.

It's news cuz..
All the money raised by the album will go towards funding maths and programming workshops for young people.
Most people don't know so they're sensationalizing it cuz those people just wanna raise some money. It's for a good cause too

Yeah, I didn't consider that part, I feel stupid now. I was just reading the technology section and saw this and wondered why they're talking about soft synths like it's something new. Those Arturia plugins have probably been used on thousands of albums by now.
