Hey guys, how y'all doin?
So, recently I found this tune:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1UEr6oSHsU

I was mesmerized. The mix between breakcore and those lovely vocals sound great. I have to make something similar.
However, I can't seem to get the vocals to sound good, much less perfect. I came here to ask how to effectively get vocals off a track and edit them till they sound like that.

I''ve tried googling it, but none of the results show what I want. Hope you guys can help.

Delay, chorus, reverb. Some pitching and timestretching too I think.

This is the tune they sampled. Try to think what they did to those vocals to make them different.

I know, I Instantly looked for the song ( by typing in all the words I recognised on google  ) and was actually pretty surprised, I thought the original song was gonna be different.

So, about this pitching, how do I go about doing this effectively?
Also, how did they manage to rip the vocals so perfectly off the track? I can't hear any of the instruments of the original song.

For most big signles there's acapellas out there. Just search for '[artist name] acapella' and something will turn up.

Just play the song in a higher note or just edit the pitch. Dunno how it works in FL's sampler but it cannot be hard

So, to pitch the vocals I don't need to pitch every single part of the singing, I just change the pitch of the whole sample and I'm good to go?
